First Day of School and Kindergarten! {2011}

 It's here! I can't believe the day I send both kids off to school is really here. I'm a mix of emotions. Excitement for this new chapter and nervous of not sure what that will look like. But more than anything I am confidant that I've raised two beautiful, smart and self-sufficient children and I can feel good about them going off to explore, learn and form new relationships. I have been blessed to stay home over the last decade to raise and watch my children grow to the wonderful young people they are today. I would not change a thing and that feels good.

From the beginning...

I knew. Without explanation I knew I would marry him. It didn't start out with love at first sight but what I mean is when I knew we would be together I knew it was going to be forever. There was something different.  A feeling I had never had. It was an instinct. A gut knowing. I've had those feeling from time to time in my life and haven't always trusted them. But this time I did. I didn't listen to what others had to say because if I had then I might not be typing this. And I'm so glad I trusted myself. A decision I made I do not regret. So that's how it began. The j+r. We've come along way from those first days. The j+r is actually j+r+i+a=our family. We've had 11 years of joy mixed with moments of trials. I'm thankful for all. So I begin this blog for us. A place to jot down thoughts. To explore creativity. To remember where we've come and where we'd like to go.
